FANGIRLING, FASHION, AND FICTION

Hi hi!! So nice to meet you! My name is Maddie Mayberry, I’m a graduate student at Florida State University pursuing a Master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications!   During my studies, I’ve had the opportunity to explore the world of digital media and advertising and have fallen in love with designing perfectly curated Instagram feeds and conceptualizing obscure brand collaborations. That may sound silly to some, but it matters to me. All of it matters, the process of creating – scrolling Pinterest for hours on end, agonizing over which font to pick, and messing with the saturation of a photo 100x before posting, it all gives me butterflies. It’s when I feel most like myself – just me, my oat milk latte, and laptop! Anyways, I love to write, I get giddy while online shopping in class, I am willing to sleep on the street to be front row for my favorite band (Atlanta sidewalks are pretty comfortable if you were curious), and I have an aching desire to see the world that’s been inside me for as long as I can remember. Professionally, I’ve held many leadership roles and internships that have given me experience in the influencer marketing, retail, and social media realms. Outside of school and working, you can find me bopping around Florida in my best friend’s Honda with the windows down, looking for the nearest beach to keep our tans from fading. I’m a firm believer that work and play can intersect and I am always looking for roles that stimulate me creatively and make a positive difference in the world.
